These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of yourstyleedit.com (the "Site") and your purchase and use of our virtual personal styling services (the "Services"). By booking an Edit or using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.


1) About us

Your Style Edit is an online personal styling service operated by Chanel Hamit. Styling services are provided virtually and sold via custom booking forms (Tally) with secure payment options offered through Stripe and PayPal. We do not sell physical products.

2) Our Services (what we provide)

We curate digital style edits, outfit ideas and shopping suggestions based on the information you provide. The Services may include questionnaires, discovery calls, digital lookbooks, shoppable links, and a defined period of aftercare. We do not guarantee the availability, price, fit, delivery, or quality of any third‑party items suggested.

We may earn a commission from certain retailers if you purchase through our links; this does not affect the price you pay.


3) Booking process and contract formation

Bookings are placed through our Tally form or other online checkout and are confirmed once payment is received and we send an order confirmation. We may decline an order (for example, if we cannot meet your requested timeline or the service scope is unsuitable); in that case we will refund any amounts paid.


4) Prices, payment and taxes

Prices are shown in GBP and are payable at booking unless stated otherwise. Payment is processed by Stripe or PayPal; we do not store your full card details. Any applicable taxes, fees or charges will be displayed before you complete payment.


5) Delivery of Services and timelines

Estimated delivery dates are indicative and depend on timely completion of your questionnaire, any requested calls, and retailer stock levels. We will keep you informed and agree a revised timeline if needed. Each service includes the deliverables and feedback/aftercare stated on its service page.


6) Cancellations and refunds

Please see our Refunds & Cancellations Policy for full details, including your 14‑day cooling‑off rights for distance bookings and when work begins. In summary, because each Edit is personalised, bookings are non‑refundable once work has begun and the cooling‑off period has ended (or has been waived and the service fully performed), except as required by law.


7) Your responsibilities

To receive the best result you agree to:

  • provide accurate, up‑to‑date information in questionnaires and calls;
  • ensure you have the right to share any photos or content you upload;
  • meet agreed timelines for feedback and approvals; and
  • use the Services for personal, non‑commercial purposes only.

8) Intellectual property and licence

We own (or license) all intellectual property in the Site and in the digital materials we deliver (lookbooks, layouts, images we create, text). We grant you a personal, non‑transferable licence to use delivered materials for your own wardrobe planning. You must not reproduce, resell, publish or create derivative works from our materials without written permission. Logos and trademarks of third parties remain their property.


9) Third‑party retailers and links

Our edits include links to independent retailers. We are not a party to any contract you form with those retailers and are not responsible for their products, delivery, returns, or customer service. Please check each retailer’s terms and policies before purchasing.


10) Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be limited by law.

Subject to the above, we will not be liable for: (i) losses that were not foreseeable to both parties when the contract was made; (ii) business losses, loss of profit, loss of opportunity or goodwill; or (iii) losses caused by events outside our reasonable control. For paid Services, our total liability to you for foreseeable losses shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant Service.


11) Events outside our control (force majeure)

We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., platform outages, supplier failures, strikes, extreme weather). We will contact you as soon as reasonably possible to arrange a workaround or new date.


12) Age and eligibility

You must be 18+ and capable of entering a binding contract to purchase Services.


13) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted on the Site at the time of your booking applies to that booking. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site.


14) Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident in the UK, you may bring proceedings in your local courts. Otherwise, the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction.
